Exodus Counseling Services is a telehealth private practice "Where Hope and Healing begin". Our mission is to encourage, empower, and enhance the lives of those who are experiencing mental distress and life stressors. That is the reason why we strive to create a welcoming and stress-free experience for our clients. If you feel like you are ready to take the next step at a healthier you, we invite you to reach out to us on the "Contact Us" page. Your health and wellness is our priority and we are excited about the opportunity to work with you!
My name is Angela G. P Roberts, EdD, LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 28 years of experience in the mental health/counseling field. My academic background includes a Doctorate of Education, Counseling Psychology, from Argosy University, Masters Degree, Counseling Psychology from Radford University, and a Bachelor degree, Psychology from Hampton University. My areas of clinical interest and specialties include: mind-body, culture and identity development, family dynamics, mood disorders, transgender/non-binary affirming health access, life transitions, crisis intervention, trauma and abuse. As a woman of faith and minister, I am inspired by the scripture: “I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well” Psalm 139:14. In addition, I love this anonymous quote: “If you are more fortunate than others, build a longer table and not a taller fence." It is my desire to help others in their journey towards mental wellness. If this is you, please feel free to contact me. I am looking forward to working with you!

Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
“I knew I needed help! As a first responder we save others' lives and property not so much ourselves from ourselves. Dr. Roberts was amazing! She gave me tools, exercises, prayers, and the support I needed at my darkest point. SHE IS MY HERO!”
